| I only attended Hillsboro in the 9th grade, but I had a wonderful year, and I made some great friends. I just worked on my 50th reunion at Little Rock Central High School, and we had such fun. I know yours was special, too. Age has made me yearn to reconnect with old and dear friends, and if any of you remember me, I would love to hear from you. | |||

Jimmy and Bettye have done the work and now we are ready to enjoy the fun! We were a blessed group of teenagers living in a special time and place. I can hardly wait for this reunion as we share our memories. Miranda Noe Brown |

Hello Classmates! Unfortunately, Johnny and I will not be able to attend because of a family event. I am so sorry to miss the opportunity to reconnect with all of you. Many thanks to Jimmy, Bettye and their committee for all their work. I know it will be a wonderful celebration! |

| Hi to all our 1958 Burros. My husband, Herb, and I look forward to seeing everyone again. Since we live in Louisiana, we have not seen any of my classmates since our 40th reunion. We have 5 children between us, but none of them live in LA, or anywhere close for that matter. So we travel alot - to Germany, British Columbia, Toronto, Washington State and Maine. But our next trip will be to Nashville, and we are delighted to be able to attend. CHEERS! | |||

| I've lived in California for 44 years and while Berkeley has been an exciting, interesting place to live and work, nothing can eclipse the fond memories of our class of '58. I'm looking forward to the reunion. Many thanks to the committee and to Bettye for keeping us linked. | |||

Virginia and I will not be to attend either night of the 2008 events. We have been unable to resolve prior commitments to keep four of our grandsons while their parents and siblings are attending team competitions or presenting at symposiums elsewhere in the U.S. The timing is unfortunate for us, and we will miss the opportunity to see you again. Allthough my family traveled from Virginia and North Carolina with John Donelson and James Robertson in 1779-80 to start Nashville, I made my home in Knoxville because of my work with TVA and our proximity to U-T. Yet, I was often aware of the activities and acomplishments of many of you. I am proud of your contributions to your communties and the world at large. I am most grateful for the interactions I have had with you over the years, many starting in 1946 at Dan Mills Elementary School. Those memories have sustained and guided me through the years. As a graduating class, I believe that collectively we have met the charges made to us by our parents and teachers in 1958. And we continue to do more. Best wishes to you in the future. Our thoughts and prayers are with those of you who have had and are facing serious challenges within your families. --Bill Perry |

Wouldn't miss this event for the world...didn't think I would live this long. (Just kidding)!!!! Looking forward to seeing each and every one of you and reliving memories that seem like yesterday. Jimmy and Betty and all your team...your effort and details are beyond anyone's expectation. Web site is terrific. Plans are GREAT....we just need to rest up and save our "strength" so we don't waste a single minute. Can't wait...Bonnie |

| 50 years already? Went by faster than 'lunch period' used to. Virginia and I hope to make it, this year. We missed the 45th gathering, because we had not updated our address with the 'committee'. (We did not move to Georgia in 1999, as anticipated, and have lived at the same address in Knoxville for 37 years.) I think of you folks often, as events trigger past memories. It will be good to be with you again. I just learned of the June event, yesterday, and will be in touch with wonderful people who are setting this event up. | |||

Hi, everybody! Sorry can't make the 50th reunion, but sounds like a lot of work has gone into it... Everytime I hear the "old" rock 'n roll songs, I think of HHS! And just reading the names in the Guest Book makes me think back to those days...Have fun, guys!! Arden Chilcote, Bluffton, SC |

| Thanks to all of the Reunion Committee members for planning this event, especially Jimmy and Bettye! I know it's a great undertaking, but those of us who will attend surely appreciate your efforts. My husband and I really enjoyed the 40th Reunion and are both looking forward to the 50th as well! See you in June! | |||

| Looking forward to attending the 50th Reunion for the first time. I left Nashville in '63 and lost touch. If it were not for the major advances in technology like computers and the internet, I probably would have missed this one too. | |||

| I am looking forward to seeing everyone so much. It is really hard to believe that it has almost been 50 years. I still feel like I am 30, which is a blessing. I hope to participate in all the events. Looking forward to receiving more news. Jocelyn | |||

| Oops... I meant to say, "looking forward to June '08" not June of '58. I think that may have been a Senility slip rather than Freudian slip, but who knows? (smile) | |||

| Jimmy and Bettye are a blessing and huge benefit to us all in planning and lining up these unique, I agree, BIG events for our 50th Reunion. Too, I like Doug's ideas for top flight, live music. Have had some fun e-mail exchanges with Lee Churchill in Greensboro, South Carolina on the sidelines, too. Then Ran's e-mail endorsing Doug's music ideas. The more who help with ideas the better will be the BIG event for us all. What a "social do" it will be! | |||
